Introducing Tierney Titus, CCLS

We are pleased to announce that Tierney Titus joined the Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH) team as a Certified Child Life Specialist (CCLS). She began her work at FPH in January and in this role will provide individualized care to children through play, self-expression activities and developmentally appropriate education. Tierney looks forward to bringing a new perspective and fresh ideas to continue growing and expanding the FPH Child Life Program. She’s excited to report that Faith Kids returns on April 10, and Camp Erin 2025 will take place from June 20-22. In addition, March is Child Life Month and Tierney has some fun activities planned to learn more about her and the Child Life program. Click here to learn more.

“It is evident that countless hours were spent laying the groundwork and developing an incredible framework for the Child Life, Faith Kids and Camp Erin programs at FPH. I am very excited to continue my work in supporting children and families during one of the most difficult times of their lives. My aim is not to make everything perfect or ‘all better,’ but to make the most unbearable situations more bearable,” shared Tierney.

Tierney brings more than ten years of expertise as a CCLS to her role at FPH. Before joining the team, she worked in the Pediatric Emergency Room at Methodist Children’s in San Antonio as well as Children’s Health in Dallas.

In her free time, Tierney enjoys spending time with family and friends, walking and playing with her sweet pup, Rylie, who is spoiled rotten! She also enjoys yoga, meditation and crafting. Tierney shares that her two amazing parents have always supported her dreams and goals. In addition, she has three older siblings who live across the country and she looks forward to visiting each of them in Las Vegas, New Orleans and on the Jersey Shore!
