Finding Comfort and Connection: FPH Hosts Annual Winter Memorial

Grieving the loss of a loved one can feel like navigating a sea of overwhelming emotions. At Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH), we understand the deep complexities of grief and are committed to offering compassionate support. Our goal is to provide a comforting space where individuals can acknowledge their loss, cherish memories and find moments of healing.

On December 7, FPH held its annual Winter Memorial at the Spiritual Care Center on the T. Boone Pickens Hospice Center Campus. This heartfelt event welcomed more than 100 attendees across two services, held at 10 a.m. and 2 p.m., creating a sanctuary for remembrance and connection.

The memorial services were filled with uplifting messages, heartfelt prayers, meaningful songs and even moments of shared laughter—each element carefully curated by FPH teammates. Together, these moments created a space for families to honor and celebrate the lives of those they hold dear.

Following the service, attendees were invited to a reception, where they could connect with others experiencing similar losses, and find comfort in community.

This annual gathering is more than a tradition—it is a lifeline for many, offering a safe space to express grief and feel the support of others who truly understand. For those who may have missed a loved one’s funeral, it provides a meaningful opportunity to say goodbye and find closure. Through this event, FPH continues its mission to walk alongside individuals in their grief journey, helping them honor their loved ones while finding hope and strength for the future.
