A Heartfelt Collaboration: New York Life Helps Camp Erin DFW a Success Post date August 8, 2024 Faith Presbyterian Hospice (FPH), the Forefront Living Foundation (FLF), and their dedicated teammates are overjoyed to have partnered once again with Eluna and New York Life (NYL) to bring Camp Erin DFW to life. Camp Erin is the nation’s largest bereavement program, providing children and teens ages 6-17, who have experienced the loss of a loved one, with a place to heal and find support. Thanks to Eluna’s founding vision and the unwavering support of NYL, this transformative camp is offered at no cost to families. NYL, the main corporate sponsor of Camp Erin DFW, has demonstrated exceptional commitment to supporting grieving families. Beyond their generous financial contributions, they donate so many snacks we have created a “Snack Shop” during camp for children and families to enjoy at camp. In addition to the abundance of snacks and drinks NYL provides for our campers to enjoy during camp, they also provide individual goody bags for the ride home. NYL’s agents are encouraged to engage personally with the programs they sponsor. Laura Sanders, Director of Development for New York Life – Dallas Fort Worth General Office, has led the charge in this effort for Camp Erin DFW. For the past three years, Laura and her team have donated snacks, drinks and goody bags for families to enjoy on their journey home from camp. This year, an impressive 21 agents participated in the goody bag drive, collectively donating 51 hours of their time. As a result, they were able to secure a $918 grant for camp, and then donated an additional $500 cause card to support Camp Erin DFW. This collaborative effort showcases the incredible impact that can be achieved when organizations and individuals come together with a shared purpose. Thanks to the combined efforts of FPH, FLF, Eluna, and NYL, Camp Erin DFW continues to be a beacon of hope and healing for grieving children and teens. Together, they are making a profound difference in the lives of those who need it most. ← Older Posts Newer Posts →
